Why does my knee still hurt?

On March 19th I had surgery to reconstruct my ACL. Everything went fine and as planned. Now I am having pain on the medial side of my knee. The pain is along the joint line and behind my knee. I am a golfer and in the peak of my season at this point. I also have swelling along the joint line and behind my knee. The pain pump that was used in my knee was recalled after my surgery. The reason the pumps were recalled is because they can tear cartilidge when being removed. Could that be what is bothering me?

  1. In my experience you are going back to activity way to early. with a sport like golf, so much force/power/ twork goes through the knee and if you saw tiger woods play last, it is hard to play when not 100% and it can make it worse. The pump could have torn some cartilage but you are back to activity to soon. the only golf i would have you do is putting and just getting your conditioning of walking the course, and strengthening your legs.

  2. its possible that it is the pumps have you talked to your doctor about it?
