Why does my landlord follow me around

i rent a basement, and whenever I go to the kitchen i hear the landlord's footsteps above me. i go to the bathroom i hear the footsteps moving alone the ceiling to wherever Im going. its like he's following me, like its some kind of game. I stop, and the footsteps stop. I go to my room and all of a sudden he follows me again and now he's above my bedroom

Maybe he has an audio pickup & amp and is spying on you for his own perverse ends. Solutions: Confront him (inadvisable). Move. Record footsteps and play back in vaious areas, to confuse him. Wear sneakers. Play medium volume music on speakers.
