Why does my laptop -macbook- mouse keep freezing?

its a laptop i obviously cant clean it and nothing "obvious" spilled on it recently, what to do?

Not sure why or how to fix it, but i get it when i leave the laptop on but don't use it for a while. I click the buttons a few times and that usually sorts it.

The reason why your laptop keep freezing are countless. Try restarting your computer and see if it helps. If the problem persist please let me know

There are two common causes of mouse freezing on a laptop. Overheating of the cpu or other critical component on the motherboard, or a faulty ram chip. The later being the most common. If the laptop has 2 ram chips try with each in turn to see if the fault is fixed. If the cpu cooling fan is blocked then clean and see if this fixes the fault. its not just the mouse I think everything freezes, when the mouse freeze try and type something so here's how i break it for you

1, mouse freezes, but I can watch a video and use the keyboard and I hear music solution: replace mouse pad, update osx

2. mouse freezes  I can not watch a video and use the keyboard and I cant hear music solution: replace hard drive
