Why does my left car speaker seem to lower in volume on its own?

When im driving, i will sometimes notice that my left speaker seems to drop in volume creating a panning effect where the singers voice seems to move only to the right speaker. I know its not part of the song. Ive also had situation where the sound suddenly gets really loud in the left speaker out of nowhere

What would be the reason for this? is it wireing? worth fixing?

CHECK THE WIRES TO THE SPEAKER U MAY POSSIBLY HAVE A SHORT SOMEWHERE,AND THEN AGAIN ITS POSSIBLE UR RADIO MAY HAVE A SHORT.
