Why does my left eye?

Drain water? It doesn't hurt or anything like that, it just drain alot of water. I don't even cry at all when it happens! Its like an eye drainage. I can see perfectly fine with it because I have a 20/20 vision! Can someone please tell me why my eye drains water for no reason. My right eye does not drain water of its own. My right eye does not even bother me none. Doesn't hurt or anything. Just tell me what this could possibly mean.

sometimes eyes just water, mabey theres dirt in it that u cant tell is there.

Tearing and Watering eyes is one of the normal functions of the eye.

However, since yours is constant it is a sign of a health condition or disease that you may have of the eye.

Tears are made up of water, oil and antibodies. They drain from the eye through athing called the tear duct. If these tear ducts are somehow blocked it can result in tears welling up and falling excessively.

Some other causes of teary eyes are:

- An allergy you may have / Eye allergy

- Infections such as a virus or trachoma

- medications you may use can result in teary eyes

- your tear duct is blocked

- If you have had some type of trauma injury

If you aren't sure what the reason of your watery eyes, it is best to see an optometrist who will know what the problem is.

That same thing happens to me... but they made me get glasses. But I had 20/20 too! No fair! I hate glasses.
