I've been riding around town and on some trails for the past week. I noticed that my left foot felt like it was falling asleep. Do you think I'm not at the right height on my seat? I can't figure it out. Please help...

  1. maybe your left shoe is slippery, try using cleats pedals they wont slip.

  2. the other answers might be right, but it could also be that your seat is too high.

  3. Ooo, I hate that. I'm going out on a limb and guessing that you are riding around with the plastic toe clips with the canvas strap on your pedals? If so, it is lack of a stiff sole in your shoes. Pick up some cheap mt. bike shoes, you really need that support in the soles. Incorrect seat height shouldn't creating numbing of the foot. While we're on seat height, when you are sitting on you saddle, you should have just a slight break in the knee to obtain a saddle height that is close. It can get pretty specific...I'm at 74.5cm from center of bottom bracket to top of saddle...but that little test should get you close.
