Every time I swim, play basketball (particularly jumping), or stretch my legs in bed right after waking up, my leg cramps or something. The pain is always in my Soleus muscle and Gastrocnemius muscle (I think). And it happens when my my foot is in a tiptoe position and have been playing for like 30 minutes or so. Why does this happen?

  1. you are not replenishing your electrolytes, training to much causing lactic acid build up, not stretching before and after exercise, or all of the above.

So drink some orange juice, don't train the same muscle group two days in a row, include a stretching regime in your training.

  2. Happens to me a lot to, I asked my dad and he says it is when youdon'tt have enough fluids in your system. Just be sure you drink enough fluids.

I HATE cramps they are so painful, it feels like you want to die!
