My mom had my little brother 6 years ago. Her back has been hurting really bad once in a while from then on. She had an epidural and she says that's whats been causing her pain. She says her legs hurt too when it rains or something. The pain is on the lower back.

  1. Have her get an X-ray. She could have scoliosis or something like that.

  2. As we age, we start DDD degenerative disc disease process along with Osteoarthritis changes. Commonly known as back ache. If your Mother is over weight she needs to loose the weight, likewise if she is picking up heavy objects, like kids, she needs to stop. She might want to try some back strengthening exercises, get the muscles into shape as they hold the spine in the correct alignment. Best of Luck

  3. yes her back does hurt because of the epidural but as for her legs sounds to me she has arthritis she can take bayer that will work very well.
