Why does my mom always being lazy?

All she does is lay down ever since she started taking her med a year ago and all she does is sleep....even in the day time

Well this might be a side effect from the medication. Why is it you call her lazy if she has no control over this? What is the medication for?

Maybe her condition requires a lot of sleep?

Leave it to a kid to call a parent lazy when she's on medication that could possibly be causing bad side effects.  Tell someone like a friend of hers or someone she trusts about what's going on so they can get her some help.

and tell him the situation.

it is probably depression.  It could also be her medicine making her extremely tired.  What type of meds is she on?  Anything psychotic or any kind of pain meds will make her tired.

It could also be depression.  Does she enjoy her life?  Does she have friends or family she talks to?  Does she participate in activities or have any hobbies?  Try talking to her about your concern.  Don't attack her by calling her lazy.  It will make her even more depressed if that's what it is.  Ask her to go to the movies with you or go for a walk.  Play a board game or start a puzzle if she's sick and can't go out.  Get her involved in life again.  Most of all, tell her you love her and want to help her. :)

Its probably side affects from the meds and call the doc and tell them and maybe they can prescribe another med that can get her back to herself again

I'm in the same boat as you, except it's because she doesn't take her meds.. She does absolutely nothing except sit in her bed, but there is nothing physically wrong with her. It's annoying as h**l. She does nothing to help herself or anyone else, and then blames us for her problems!
