Why does my mom always say, "Delayed obedience is, in reality, masked disobedience"?

  1. it is masked disobedience because although you finally give in you really do not want to so you only slightly satisfy or rather pacify her. you push it off as long as you can in disobedience. that form is a very light and short lived form of disobedience.


  2. Because when you obey someone/something you do it, usually, right away. When you wait to do something, a lot of times you forget. so really if your going to do something, dont wait. I always delayed doing stuff for my mom when I lived with her and i never understood why she got mad, cause i would do it anyways, eventually. but now that im older i understand what she meant and why she got mad. so maybe it will be clearer when your older..

  3. She means that by not doing what she tells when she tells you you are still being disobedient, just not openly disobedient.

    Mothers can always tell when your thinking about not doing what you are told.
