Why does my mom favour my sister?

Everytime my mom goes out somewhere, she buys my sister something, and not me. She buys her whatever she wants, like.. any toy she wants, or candy or a new electronic or something.. Its starting to make me want to shoot my mom. She's always soo much nicer to my sister and when my sisters crying about something stupid she comforts her and gets her whatever she wants. When im crying she gives me a dirty look and tells me to suck it up. She doesnt even ask...

I really hate that women -.-" Why is she like this? My dad is like never home because he works out of town so he can never stop her from yelling at me for no reason.. The only time shes nice to me is when my dads home.. which is almost never because he works so much..

Can you get in touch with your dad and talk to him? It sounds like you all need to unite as a family...get some counseling perhaps. If he's none the wiser, he should be filled in on how you are feeling. Even if he doesn't do anything, but just listens to you, you might feel more like you have someone in your corner. have you somehow failed your mother in anyway?  bad grades, hanging out with people she disapproves with, disobeying her?  if so, she may have tried to "fix" you, but has found that you are you and there is nothing to change that.  your mother may think putting more attention towards your sister will make her into what she wanted you to be before it is too late.  i'm not blaming you for anything.  i think you should be whatever you feel like, but your mom may also have her certain expectations. good luck at resolving this issue with your mom because family should get along with each other no matter what
