Why does my new airsoft pistol not shoot properly?

I just bought a spring airsoft handgun and at first when i tested it out in my basement it worked fine.Then after a few minutes of shooting an empty pepsi,i went to c**k the gun back it got stuck.So i just fired and it went back to normal but a bigger problem occured.Everytime i shoot the bbs dont shoot out like they did before they just fall out the barrel or just shoot a few inches from me!Please help i dont want to buy another gun.

Well it could be the way u c**k it. Pull it in an upward motion, don;t point it down. Also, don;t pull it back too soft. Try this!,hold the slide and guide it back and forth when cocking it. Just don't hold the back and let go.
