  1. She's a baby, and in a new house where everything is unknown.  She's probably also a little lonely, since she has no littermates around or other dogs to be with.  Babies cry a lot!  As she gets used to her new home, she should stop crying so much.  You should also run your hands all over her, gently pressing and rubbing to make sure she's not in any pain anywhere, which could also cause crying.  But it's much more likely that she's just crying like all infants/babies do!

  2. She needs company, let her be with you; but when it's kennel time- ignor the whine. You must re structure her life, give her a routine she can depend on that will appease her need to socialize and get excercise but inforce your rules, kennel time is quite time. Good luck! Lot's of entertaining treat filled toys to roll about and chew or another doggy pal. Either be diligent in your training to be content while alone or get her a buddy.

  3. yeah what the other guy ssaid

  4. possibly.

    she has new surroundings,

    and is scared, and unsure.

and possibly misses her old home.

    but don't worry.

it only gets better with time.

  5. oh the poor thing! she probably misses her old family. the same thing was with my dog. what i did was i brought him for lots of walks and bought him lots of toys and played with him to get his mind of of it but if that does not work, i read in a owners guide that if nothing works you should go back to the dogs foster home and ask the is you can borrow a small blanket or something the dog used in that house

                             good luck

  6. I had the same problem with my Basset Hound puppy. He did fine the first day I brought him home, he traveled a great deal in the car to arrive at his new home. The next day he started whining when I left the room he was in. This went on for months. My neighbor said he had separation anxiety, her advice was to ignore him when whining and as soon as he stops for any amount of time to praise him with a treat and verbally praise him, also. I would then extend the amount of time he needed to be quite before he got a treat. This did work, he stopped whining, although, he whines in the car.  It took a couple of months for me to get really use to him and for him to get use to us.  Be patient it gets better.

  7. If she gets the attention she wants then it's working for her and she will be a whining dog.  Just be glad it's not loud barking.  If she is being unreasonable then ask her to stop.
