  1. my 18 year old cat does that 2. we call it singing the national anthem. lol. they just want to be with you at all times and since they're losing their senses they howl so they can be found and cared for. just make sure you love her.

  2. Have your cat checked by a vet. Your cat could be deaf.

  3. Well it could just be that she Justwants attention but it could also be that she is lonely and feeling like she doesn't have enough attention or love, Mabe you should try feeding her alot of treats and spending more time with her. It might also be that she is in alot of pain from being old ,you could take her to the vet and ask if there is anything wrong with her or you could call a vet and ask if it is normal for a cat her age to be doing this

  4. My Cameo who lived to be 22+ did that too.  I think it may have been because she was totally deaf the last couple of years of her life.  I could run the vacuum cleaner around her and she did notice at all.

Vision is also compromised as a cat (and people) age. Especially at night with lack of normal vibrations from people acivity and poor vision your cat may become somewhat disoriented and distressed.

  5. She is demanding something she wants.  Figure out what she wants and it may stop.  Usually food, attention and then somewhere their own to do their business.
