Why does my parakeet bite me?

Was your parakeet hand raised? When it was a baby was it handled a lot, or not handled at all. If it was not hand raised it will bite, you can try to hand tame it, not sure how much luck you will have.

Probably its still scared and its just protecting itself...or maybe it is territorial.
