  1. he wants to fly away like maybe out of his cage or to  stretch

  2. my parakeet does the same thing. they just need to exercise their wings. having their wings trimmed every 4-6 wks helps them not feel the need to stretch so much.

  3. it happend with my bird to i heard it means some new feathers are coming in.

  4. Yeah, pretty much what everyone else said, just dusting them off,  after preening ( grooming ) themselves, they will often do this.   He might be trying to fly, but if he really wanted to, at least he could make it off the perch.  My conure puts is beak in bettween the wires, and flaps, too.

  5. This happens when the bird wants to get out and fly.  Most likely you need to take your bird out more. In other words its just stretching its wings

  6. I have got a parakeet. he does this alot but he just streches. but if you are worried he will fly away clip his wings. Look it up or ask a professional how to do that

  7. Sometimes they do that to dislodge loose feathers.  Other times they do it when t hey are angry or are just stretching their wings.

  8. Just stretching or he wants to fly away.

  9. maybe hez tryin to fly!

  10. he's ready to fly
