  1. It might help if you said what kind of parrot you have and what you mean by "changing colors". Some birds go through a color change after they molt their "baby" feathers -- sun conures, for instance, don't get their beautiful "sunset" colors until they molt a few times.

My white-bellied caique had flecks of black feathers mixed in with the sherbet-orange of her head for at least a year when she was a "baby", until she molted all the dark feathers out. Now she's got a beautiful yellow-orange head.

  2. Some vitamin or lack there of can cause some minor feather colorations... but I'm not sure about the changes that your question infers.

  3. mabe its season change idk my dog does

  4. Parrots don't normally change colors, so I would bring him/her to a vet for a checkup to make sure everything is going on ok with his/her body. Are you feeding him with a good diet of pellets? They provide many different nutrients that your bird needs. Along with pellets you bird should get some fruits and vegetables in his diet.

Canaries are often fed dyed food so that it changes their feather color. They are the only birds that do this however, so since you said that your parrot is changing color, I would be concerned.

However, like previous posts have mentioned, if your bird is a baby then it is molting his baby feathers. Though there shouldn't be a drastic change in color because of this.

So, overall, I would bring your bird to a vet just for his annual physical to make sure everything is a-ok!

  5. the birds will change the feather for every year...

that why it change the coluor...

  6. Hi, you didn't say what kind of parrot it is.  Many parrots change colors as they molt off their baby feathers.  Sometimes it can also due to something they eat, mostly lack of something they need.  Make sure your parrot is getting good pellets, seed mix, veggies, fruits, and sprouts.
