Why does my parrot make weird noise?

My Alexandrine Parrot makes weird noises at night, before going to sleep. The noise that I'm talking about is when he scratches his upper beak with his lower one and it sounds like scratching a blackboard with your fingernails. He also starts to shake around the wings and stomach while he does it. Is this normal? (He doesn't do it during day time)

It sounds normal for a parrot but with mine it sounds like its crying or scared i dont know what to do its 6 months old.
