I know for a fact that my Meyers Parrot doesn't like this person. Is that the reason why?

  1. ...lol...( I think this is cute . )

I have a blue crown pair conures ...they were fine to me ...but every time my husband went into the bird room, they screamed so bad ...I sold them and I also told the new owner that ...why I sold ...she said it was ok, her husband didn't go to her bird room that much ...next thing we knew , she emailed me and she said I was right and  I was honest because they were fine to her , but every time that pair saw her husband , they started to scream like the war was going on ...lol...( very funny ) .

I think some birds scream to certian person because they don't like that person ( in this case , my pair didn't like men ...lol...??? ) That is all . TM.

  2. In human terms... he's cussing them out in Psittacine. He doesn't like that person and he's making sure they darn well know it. My male cockatiel did that sometimes.

  3. he is probably excited or sumthing....its either u didnt feed him or hes just bored or something.... im not sure. but u can always go to,http://parrotcentral.net/parakeets.htm. or search it up on yahoo or google, it will show u the websites that can help u.

  4. Parrots are known  for deciding who they like and who they don't like. You may never know the reason why.  I have a Goffins Cockatoo that told my Real Estate agent to "Get Out"

  5. ya

  6. Y'know it could just be the way your bird associates itself with the person!  I have  a friend whose bird will make a toilet flushing sound (or tries to) every time his dad walks by. (b/c the dad only passes his room to use the bathroom!)
