Why does my partner do this to me?

...I am 19 and I have already had to have both of my legs amputated below the knee due to a vascular disorder called Buerger's disease which is caused by smoking (I don't smoke anymore). She calls me a "legless freak." She also constantly blames me for what happened to my legs and that no other girl as beautiful as she is would even consider being with me because I don't have legs. Well, it really hurts my feelings when she says things like this. I think that I am very attractive and that she just wants to destroy what's left of my self esteem. Could this be the reason? ... One night, she hid my wheelchair while I was sleeping (I can't afford prosthetics because I don't have medical insurance because I'm not in school right now). The next morning while she was gone, I had to crawl around the house on my knees and look for my wheelchair. I found it on top of the refrigerator and I had to knock it down with a broom because I couldn't reach it. She claimed that it was an accident.

I love her so much, so why does she do these hurtful things to me?

wow that's b/s I wouldn't put up with that there are plenty of girls who would date u i'm sure that wouldn't care if u had legs or not. she is trying to make ur self esteem go down so that u feel like u have no choice but to be with her that u deserve to be treated like this.

For the fact that she "ACCIDENTLY" put ur wheelchair on top the refridgerator is such a lie since I'm sure she did it purposly to see if u would find it and wat u had to do to get it and when u told her wat u did she probly left the room and laughed histerically while telling her friends about it. trust me u are better off without her since she was nice to u when u had legs shopuld tell u one thing that she's a closed minded idiot. If she's willing to do this to u I'd hate to see wat she's do to someone she doesn't know who is hadicapped in a wheelchair offer to push them across the street and shove them down a flieght of stairs nearby. she is a very cruel woman get out now before the bulling gets worse. Honestly if my gf lost her legs I wouldn't treat her like that I may get angry and frustrated at times because I wish she was able to do some things for herself but I would never hide her wheelchair or do the things ur so called gf does.

Seriously, if I were you those things would make me fall out of love with her! That's just so horrible what she's doing to you. I don't think she loves you cuz that's not the way you treat someone you love. I would've left her after that. Don't keep putting up with her abuse.

or maybe she is using you so that other people will think she has sympathy even though you know she really doesnt.

Whoa... She's a horrible b****, man. For whatever reason, she's awful and abusive and clearly not good for you. I can't imagine anyone who can be that cruel (no matter how nice she might be on whatever rare occasions convinced you that you should date or live with her) could possibly be better than being single. Plenty of people with amputated legs or other disabilities have loving (and attractive) partners. You can find someone much better, someone kind. Don't let her continue to use you. Get out.

What a mean person your girlfriend is! What she does is hurtful and spiteful, I see no reason why you should stay together for another second longer! If she feels she is such a great catch, then let her prove the boast of that statement. With an attitude like that, I have no doubt in my mind that she has set herself up for a lifetime of disappointment when it comes to relaitonships.

I was a home health aid for a will and I had to report a few families for just this. when the state came in to investigate the people told them " I was cleaning and had to move it out of the way and forgot," or" I do not know how it got there"!

bud, I feel for you!  as for why I think she is mean to you. she feels that because you do not have lags you are holding her back, but she feels obligated to you, that is take care of you because she thinks you can not take car of your self.
