Why does my pc say i cant download a patch for a game because i need 11 million bytes free when i have 25GB?

i keep trying to download a patch for a game on my pc but every time it says that i need 11 million bytes free of memory when i have more then 25 Gigs?

Make sure you're trying to download/install to the right drive - many computers have a split drive, one small one that houses the OS, and another larger one that holds all the other programs and data.  Also, make sure you're looking at free space when you're seeing that 25GB... you may need to empty your recycle bin as well.
