  3. You have prolonged bleeding which is abnormal. The most logical thing for you to do is see a gynecologist. Endometriosis is very painful so you can rule this out.  When I was a teenager, I had long periods also which were a pain in the butt until I decided to go see a doctor. He performed a D&C which is Dilatation & Curettage..  It is done as an outpatient procedure and it helped me alot.  I had already become anemic due to bleeding.  Even if you are not bleeding heavily, still 10 or 11 days is a long time. A normal period last about 4 days and equals to about 3 tablespoons.  See a dr. to get a correct analysis cuz every body is different.  Good luck

  4. Is it a really heavy flow?  Very painful?  Other bothering symptoms?  If yes to all those I would see a doctor because it could be something like endometriosis (I have it) if not, it might just be normal for you.  I feel for you, I sometimes have 10 day periods, takes a right chunk out of your cycle.
