Or even the bathtub? I even have to sometimes put her in her litter-box

just so she will go to the bathroom in it.

  1. Channy's right, off to the vet for her. If it's not a physical problem write back in or search the site for litter box hints. Good Luck

  2. how long has she been doing this? this is the #1 sign of a UTI in cats,

  3. When my male cat did that it turned out to be a stone; you need to get your cat to the vet ASAP.

  4. How often do you go before cleaning her litter box?  My cat used the sink and the bathtub once, because someone wasn't keeping her litter box clean.

I think it's pretty ingenius, considering she could've used the bathroom elsewhere-

Also, my cat hates any really strong scented litter:  Tidy Cat is really strong scented.  Try a different unscented litter and maybe that will encourage her to use her toilet..

  5. as Channy ^ said it could be a UTI

    Check if there is any

Pain for her while urinating, frequent urination, small or no urine at all,

Excessive grooming of genitals, crying while doing it and blood in urine are almost certain symptom of urinary infection in cats

If there are any of these other signs take her to the vet immediately.

Or she could just be weird like my cats.

Cats have their own little quirks but you have to check there is nothing more to it before accepting your cat is -ahem- "unique"

    :-p
