Why does my pokemon refuse to go into pokemon ranch?

I have a whiscash that refuses to be sent to Pokemon Ranch. Once I try, it comes back, saying: "Whiscash came back! Was it worried about you?"

Is it a pokemon nature or what? Could someone help me with this?

Did you teach your Whiscash a HM move such as Surf? If it is the last Pokemon in your box that knows that HM move, it will refuse to go to the ranch.
