Why does my posted message in yahoo groups not appear in the homepage? I am the group moderator.?

does the post ever appear in the in box? many reasons can cause this- comcast right now is having issues of hacking. did it just start today? without more info, all I can offer is

I, too, am an owner/moderator for a few groups and I know that if I have myself currently on moderation this can happen.  Also, if there have been about 10 messages or so coming in at the same time, only the most recent x number will be shown, so yours might have come in before them just enough to be bumped off of the list (bad timing.)  

It can also be that Yahoo (again) is taking its time in processing messages.  Sometimes this can take a few hours to days to come through.  

Check the message archive itself to see if the message has posted and how many messages have come through since it has, and compare it to what's on the front page.  Yahoo generally doesn't care if the message is from a member or mod, so they're not going to keep your post from the front page just to spite you.
