Why does my powder show up bumps?

i have quite bad skin, but use concelar and it looks almost pefect. I then put on my powder to se the concelar and it looks cakey and shows up all the bumps. how can i stop this from happening? i use the clinque mineral powder

stop using powder all together especialy if you have dry skin as powder will attach its self to dead skin giving you the cakey look i suggest using a liquid foundation with a full coverage

i work at MAC

and concelar all together is cakey , so what i would suggest is ..

if you have bad skin , you need concelar , so put on your concelar and after you put it on dap it with your fingers . than LIGHTLY apply liquid foundation , i suggest MAC studio fix liquid , then let the liquid dry and go over it with a powder foundation to smooth out the surface, MAC studio fix powder is great !

and dont apply your makeup with a sponge, apply it with a foundation brush !
