Why does my pregnant wife's belly hurt when i rub or touch it?

this is me and my wife's first baby (she is due October 3rd) and now sometimes when i rub or touch her belly it hurts or she will move my hand off her belly. why does it hurt when i touch her belly sometimes?

I had really bad stretch marks and they hurt. even lotion would sting and burn. It felt like an open wound at times.

Maybe its because her stomach has stretched so much, stretch marks can hurt really bad, and maybe her stomach is extra sensitive.

it might be the stretch marks or it could be that she just doesnt want you to touch her belly. you should try asking her about it!
