Why does my propane refrigerator have a built in regulator, do I still need the one on the tank as well.?

  1. yes, the refrigerator may run at a lower pressure than a tank's regulator usualy offers.


  2. yes. you need both. the one on appliances are set for pressure that appliance needs. the main on the tank will be higher to allow for multiple outlets to be used at once.  higher pressure equals higher volume.
