Why does my psp sound not work?

when i plug headphones in the sound still comes out from the psp speakers

  1. Im guessing that it is not the PSP that's not working; the headphones are not working buy new ones, If that dosent work then dont worry you can send the PSP itself to Sony and get the PSP repaired.
