Why does my r4ds card only show 34 games?

ive got a r4ds with a 2gig micro SD you can put 60+ games on it but the ds only shows 34 any ppl out there able to help and explain why this happen any info's better than no info

Each game is a different size. Some are 10Mb, some are over 100Mb. If you fill the card with lots of 100mb games plus their saves, homebrew apps, movies, music, pictures, text files, plus the R4 software and themes, 2Gb fills up pretty quickly.

In general, don't expect 60+ games on your card. 30 sounds about right.

It's UP to 60+ games, not guaranteed to hold 60+ games.

As games get newer and better looking, and as AI gets better, the games start to take up more space. I believe some alot of DS roms are taking up over 100mb these days. You probably have quite a few new games, which definitely take up more space than old ones.

The good thing about R4s is that you can always delete the roms you aren't playing to cycle on some new games.
