I have male Holland Lop, Henry, and he always grunts and thumps or he'll rub his chin on things like crazy (which i know he does that for territory reasons). I have no clue why he always does the grunt n' thump thing. i need answers!

  1. he's fustrated, my male rhinelander does this sometimes too.

my lop would do this when she was scared, that may be a possibility

  2. it got the hump in other words its in a mood

  3. I think the thumping is usually a warning of danger - they do that in the wild to warn other rabbits. Grunting is a sign he's not happy with you. Maybe he's scared of something?
