  1. depends on the brand of ink and the professional working on you.

wish i could be more help!

  2. it doesn't peel more, per se.

red is a very difficult color to achieve.

same goes with dying clothing, hair etc.

if you go to tattoo removal...

red is the hardest to get out :)

    Funny thing, isn't it?

  3. someone told me that its a little thicker so it doesnt fade so much after time and look pink. i noticed that on my tatoo too

  4. People are more likely to have allergic reactions to red/pink. It's just the ingredients in the ink.

  5. My understanding is that black is carbon based, and the body handles it very well. All the other colors come from a variety of sources, some even synthetic. Artist often have their own private stash of colors, and guard them like they are the secrets to the universe.

Peopl sometimes have an allergic reaction to red ink, and it won't take, but will often take just fine with a touch up once it has healed. I do not know the particulars, and I know that red inks are made from many different things, and the quality varies (sometimes a shop/artist will buy 'cheap' inks to save money)

On my 1st encounter with a red ink, I swelled and was sore, but when I got more done later with the same dye, my body accepted it just fine.

    I hear this is typical.
