  1. no all dogs pee does this it turns the grass yellow and kills i its just how it is i suggest lawn fertilizer i thik they have a spelice one for that

  2. happens with all dogs, the pee has amonia and it kills the grass.  if you went out and peed on the grass every day it would kill it also

  3. Good news!  There is a way to prevent it!  This mostly happens with female dogs, but if your male squats, well I suppose that could do it too. They spot lawns with a yellow spot, and dark green circle around the urine spot.  Check this out, it will not hurt your dog, and will keep your dog from hurting your lawn.

this product will help with lawn spots should you forget the supplement, but gypsum will help as well.

  4. all urine is acidic. even yours. and all urine kills lawn grass. it can't be helped. best solution would be to have your dog pee somewhere else that's less important.

  5. it's the ammonia that kills the grass, so what you have to do is kill the scent that makes the dog return, spray the area with white vinegar, scratch the surface and resow with seed, if you see your dog about to spray zap him with white vinegar, after a while he will find a spot and stick to it

  6. You can help the situation by instantly pouring a can of cold water over the puppy urine.  This will dilute the acidity in the urine.
