Why does my sims 2 crash when i take my sims other places than their home?

it started happening about a month ago.

It could be a memory problem. I had the same problem when I played and every other computer game I have does the same thing, so it's gotta be the computer. Get more memory and see what happens after that.

it may be that your graphics card cant handle the game or that your running out of internal memory. Try closing out unnecessary programs before running the game. That has always worked for my sims games.
