  2. OMG! I am so glad you asked this question. I am sorry I don't have an answer, but my son is doing this lately too and its driving me nuts! He is 16.5m .I really  hope you get some good answers b/c I would be most interested in them too! I was just about to ask this question too!!

  3. Well there could be a lot of reasons but think that it's his only way of communicating.  He knows that he'll get your attention if he crys, he knows you'll come running...it works.  My sister and her husband wait until their 15 month old son stops crying and then they get him out of his crib.  He eventually plays with his toys in his crib.  Maybe give him some time, like maybe 5-10 mins, and see if he calms down.  Otherwise, I'd speak to your doctor.  Good luck!

My brother-in-law says that sometimes if he wakes up crying, then he's not ready to get out of the crib just yet, that he might still need to nap a little while longer.

  4. My son has been doing this and still does at the age of 3. I figured out that he was still just tired and couldn't fall back to sleep! Either try to get your child to go ack to sleep or comfort him .Now when he wakes up this way I immediately show him something he likes, like a toy, food or something on TV. It seems to help. Good luck!

  5. my daughter is 21 months old and does the same thing. she's not as cranky when she wakes up in the morning it's usually after her nap, and she takes a long nap, usually 3 hours but she wakes up so cranky. I usually give her a little snack when she wakes up like a small cup of juice and a few small crackers or cookies, that usually helps. I'm wondering if maybe her sugar is low, because she perks up right after her little snack...either that or she takes after me (i'm also very cranky when I wake up..lol)

  6. hmm..get ur attention lol..this is scientific...and theres no specific proof of ne sort of why the baby or ur son cry..

  7. To let you know he is awake. And the fact that he's waking up in a room all by himself might upset him.
