Why does my step son tear the pillow case off the pillows when he sleeps?

My step son is 14. We have him every other weekend. My husband and I can't figure out how or why he manages to wrestle the pillow case off the pillow when he sleeps at night. I've never seen or heard of anyone doing this before. We've never knocked the pillow off a pillow case while sleeping. The 7 year old step daughter doesn't do it either. He says he does this at his moms house too. What gives? You ever heard of this? Why does he do this? HOW does he do this? Its a mystery to us....

Get a pillow case with buttons.

I have no idea.  I've never heard of this before.

He moves his head alot in his sleep.

Pillowcases sometimes slip off if you are a restless sleeper. I really don't think there is a mystery to this. You might get a larger pillow so it will be tighter and maybe not come off

I flip my pillow back and forth at night and the pillow case gets twisted but has never came off.
