If I take 2 aspirin for a headache, I get a stomach ache and I feel like I need to throw up, but never do. Is there any explanation for this?

  1. Its probably really strong. Make sure u have some food in your stomach before u take it

  2. idk. but i think it is not suitable for you maybe. my friend also cant take aspirin, she will bcome more dizzy and headache. stop take it.

  3. That means your stomach can't tolerate them... and they're eating into the lining of it.

Take acetominophen instead.  I have the same problem.

  4. try takin a tums prior to taking the asprin and be sure to drink alot of water - also, take with food and reduce your intake to one

  5. Aspirin is very hard on the stomach and causes a lot of people to get upset stomachs.  It can cause ulcers and make your stomach bleed.  It does something to suppress the production of protective coating in your stomach so the acid is right on your stomach lining.  Try Tylenol instead of aspirin.

  6. if you have an empty stomach that can have something to do with it.

  7. Yep, asprin is pretty harsh on your stomach, and some people are more sensitive to it.  Try ibuprofen (advil, motrin) or acetaminophen (Tylonol).

Be sure that they don't conflict with any other conditions or medications you might be taking.  If the problem persists see your doctor.
