  1. I don't know , maybe you should ask your boss (if you have one) or just buy a new one .

  2. since you aren't a professional

and aren't apprenticing under a professional, wouldn't it be kind of irresponsible for us to tell you how to get your machine running better so you can tattoo people?

try this, take it to a professional

if they think you're qualified enough to know, they'll tell you

    if not, they wont'

    good luck

  3. why don't you know? if your a tattoo artist you should know why your machines acting up. and why would you ask on here, its embarrassing. maybe you shouldn't be tattooing, do you even have a apprenticeship or work in a shop?

  4. Maybe you're not running it at the rated voltage. Do you have an adjustable power supply?

  5. Whether or not your machine heats up has a lot to do with the kind of machine you are using. Typically stainless steel machines heat up faster. If you are looking for something you can use for hours at a time your best bet is an iron or brass machine. I would recommend having at least three machines so that you can change back and forth throughout your session, this will also keep your machines from over heating. What kind of power supply you use will also affect the machine, but this will have a greater impact on how the needle moves. I hope this helps. :)
