Question:

Why does my thumb keep twitching?

My thumb has been twitching on and off for well over six weeks now. Sometimes it's the occasional flutter, and sometimes it goes into a weird spasm. A few people have suggested it might be a trapped nerve... in which case, how do I 'untrap' it?

What else could be causing this? I have also been having a lot of nosebleeds lately. Could the two be connected?

  1. As one who has been there, I suggest that you start by seeing your family doctor.  They will be able to initially assess your condition be nothing, or it may be worth seeing a Dr. about.  Play it safe andd see a Dr.

  2. if your thumb keeps twitching like that usually u have a trapped nerve to get rid of it just pull on it that way it could get the nerve untangled. for your nosebleeds you just might have a clogged nasal pass way so just blow your nose a hard as you can in your tissue.
