  1. To clean, get a pair of

    cleaning gloves,

a small container of salt and baking soda,

ans a small bottle of dawn with bleach alternative.

Mix all three ingredents and make it into a paste, gently pack onto the sides of the inside of the toliet. Go and do something fun for about 30 minutes.

When you get go back, make sure you use the gloves and a plastic scruber. Make sure you get underneath the rim of the toliet because that is where a lot of unsightly waste is, and that is what creates the smell.

After everything, flush the toliet. To freshen between each cleaning, use some liquid potpourii. works wonders.

  2. Pursue Toilet Bowl Cleaner

Kills 99.9% of common bathroom bacteria.

Cleaning and disinfecting the bathroom bowl has never been easier.  Now you can do both with one product.

Attacks hard-water mineral stains and deposits, lime scale, and soil buildup even below the water line.

Safe for septic tanks and plumbing.

  3. You may need to have your septic tank checked and make sure that it's not running over or stopped up...these things tend to happen the time you least expect it. You might can start with some draino, you just pour it into the bowl and let it sit as long as it says.      after times up... flush the toilet and see if it smells better, if not you'll probably have to hire a septic tank man or ROTO ROOTER HE MIGHT BE YOUR MAN....(Just playing around )trying to cheer you alittle..they can really get to the smell with that snake they carry around, truely they cane fix it for you only it'll cost around 200.00 bucks but if that is whwt it takes you gotta go for it in order to get rid of the smell. Hope I;ve helped and yes I was just trying to cheer you    good luck

  4. it smells because of what goes into it. try pouring a quart of bleach into the bowl and let it set for 15-20 minutes, then flush.

if this don't help, then repeat it a few times to clean the pipes.

  5. it smells because you must of had diaria!!!  NOW FLUSH THAT TOILET!!!!!!!!!

  6. You might want to try dumping a couple of tablespoons of baking soda.  Let it set about 20 minutes, and scrub toilet with a brush, then flush.  It is certainly worth a try and won't hurt any plumbing if it doesn't work.

    Good luck.

  7. if it is not the water, check the floor. i found the best natural cleaning stuff for a bathroom. 1 cup of white vinger/ 1 cup of clorax (name brand) and a gallon of water. mix in a milk jug. mop the floor and wipe the bathroom down, kills spiders to.

  8. Try flushing it.

  9. It would help if you could describe the odor a little better.  Under your toilet is a wax ring that is used to seal the outlet part of the toilet to the sewer pipe in your floor.  For any number of reasons this wax ring can deteriorate and allow sewer gasses, and both liquid and solid waste to collect in the space between the toilet and the floor.   If this is the problem the toilet would have to be unbolted from the floor, and a new ring installed. The ring isn't very expensive, but having a plumber do the work might be.  It's an easy DIY project if you, or someone you know, is handy around the house. Hope this helps.

  10. It may not be the toilet! It could be the water thats coming into it. Sometimes water can have sulfur which will give off an oder.  Try hanging a deodorant tablet in the tank.
