Why does my tv have no sound

My tv has no sound this morning it worked fine when I went to turn it on this afternoon nothing no sound at all any ideas what is wrong

Checklist:

Is the volume turned down or is it on mute?

Is the sound gone on all channels? Does the sound work when you try playing a DVD or a video?

Does turning it completely off and then on help?

Have anyone messed with any settings on your TV? Push the menu button and find the appropriate menu for the sound settings.

If none of the above helps, I think you might have to send it to repairs.
