Why does my tv keep turning black?

i have dish and sometimes when i turn on my tv it stays black.i press info and it tells me what channell and everything but its just black. please help.

dushes update automaticly at different time of the day or night, sound like when you turn ti on it is rebooting after an auto update, if it is not updating call your dish provers andtell them

if you have cable tv then you have a signal problem, what happens is that you have a bad connector somewhere from teh tap(cable hook up) to the house, when a outside signal gets into teh cable wire from a bad cable or connector its called ingress, what that means is that a radio signal from the air shares the same frequency as the cable systems so the box is picking up the signal from teh air and thinks that its teh cable signal that is why you have blank screens., you will need to call cable company and have a tech do a trouble call
