i have got a tevion 42" lcd tv,and only had it for 3 weeks, the last few days its started to switch itself to standby, only thing i can think of is its something to do with the scart lead, but i am no expert can a scart lead cause a tv to switch off onto standby? I am thinking of taking it back, and then purchasing another lcd or plasma, has anyone got any recommendations, specially if it has a long guarantee or warranty.

  1. There's a chance it could be in the programming but I would not be for sure sense many things could cause that.  Yes I would definitely take it back.  May I suggest the best television on the market that has lasted throughout the years, SANYO they stand behind their products and they have the best designs their semantics I like,  I really enjoy exploreing their designs.  I started working on television's 1985 over the years SANYO is the easiest and the best product that I ever work with.  Though all electronics have some sort of failures regardless of the name. SANYO they are universal and very simple.  RCA in 1975 until 1993 helt a good record.  But its failures in their designs came in 1995 when they introduce the CTC175 it was the worst design they never put out.  But they have improved over the years.

May I suggest the best television on the market that has lasted throughout the years, SANYO

  2. I have a 42" Samsung Plasma

    Its my best friend

  3. This sounds daft but it definately happens to my TV, since i fitted low energy flourescant light bulbs, if the TV is on when i turn the light on, it changes channels and or swithes it off till the bulbs have warmed up

  4. Yup go for the sony bravia you will never have any issues again!
