Why does my urine smell like ammonia? please answer quick.?

I have never had this happen. The last 2 days my urine has had a really strong ammonia smell. I am a very clean person. I'm married so i don't have multiple s*x partners. This week is when I am supposed to be ovulating. i don't know if that has anything to do with it. I have also been using an ovulation kit because we are trying to get pregnant but it still hasn't detected the Lh surge. i don't feel like i have a uti or kidney infection. The only symptom i have is the smell. Serious answers only please.

Because your urine IS ammonia!

You're probably dehydrated so it's just very concentrated. Try drinking a ton of water today and see if it's still happening.
