Why does my wellxtrol tank making a ticking noise and leaks from the little pipe under it..?

when we turn on the water for watever reason it makes that ticking noise and the pressure of the water gets really weak and then strong.

  1. What is a "wellxtrol" tank? is it the air cylinder tank on top of a pressure pump?

    If so then the ticking noise is the pressure sensor clicking on the pump and the reason you are not getting a contant flow is the air pressure in the cylinder is too low.

    You can ckeck the pressure with a tyre pressure checking gizmo and all you do if it is low is use your tyre pump off your push bike to add some until the water pumps constantly when the tap is turned on.
