Question:

Why does my wife's hip fall out? What can she do?

Sometimes when my wife is walking, standing, shifting her weight, bending over, etc, her hip seems to fall out of place. First she gets a shock of pain, then a strong pain that continues and she can't put any weight on it. She then has to shift her weight a bit, gradually, until she shifts enough in the right position for it to go back in place.

Until recently I thought she was making more if it than was really happening, but when the hip went back into place there was a loud POP, like someone popping a really big knuckle. She didn't feel anything different that time, but it confirmed that there is some kind of joint issue.

Also, telling me to go to a doctor doesn't help much. I know that should be priority number one, but I'm poor, so is there any kind of home remedy for this? Exercise it? Take a multivitamin to strengthen bones and joints? Wrap it sometime somehow?

  1. I feel for you and your wife that you don't have any financial means or health insurance but by the description that you have given here , it appears that there is problem with the joint . There isn't any exercise that can remedy to her suffering at this point . And the only way thai can be confirmed would by an x-ray . The situation will worsen as time goes on if left unattended . Perhaps you should be looking at ways of your local or federal financial help for your situation . Good luck and have a great day .
