Why does my wireless modem router still need an internal 56k modem?

Question

I recently received my Aztech 56k internal modem only to find my Netgear adapter then wouldn't connect to the wireless modem router. How come the wireless connection still appears to need an internal modem?

it doesnt ,,,delete the internal modem in control panel and your problem will go away
