  1. You have to turn the wireless signal on - on the wireless router, or if there's MAC address filtering you have to add yourself to the list.


  2. I'm not an expert but I do know that lots of wireless routers have this problem,

    They need resetting all the time and the only way is to disconnect the power I'm afraid.

    We have one in our office and we have to unplug it about 5 times a day!

    If you can connect with the wire, it's better anyway, and faster!  

  3. There is on most routers a small hole on the back which you can gently push a small s***w driver or any other object that will fit into.This is generally marked reset and will return your router to factory setting.

    Try looking online for the manual for your router  if you do do not have the manual.

  4. Dont turn the modem and router on both at the same time, modem first >wait for it to load > router last, then right click on the network icon on the taskbar and configure a connection between your wireless card and router.
