Why does my xbox 360 freeeze on the loading screen of any game that i put in it? ?

Like i bought a used xbox like 15 days ago and it was working fine no hangups all the sudden it just freezes at the loading screen of gta 4 so i tried the game grid it did the same thing so i guess that the problem is in the xbox 360 itself can anyone help me or tell me that this has happened to them? please help me!!!!
