Why does my xbox give this error message ??

Question

when i connect my pc with my 360 via ethernet cable , and i go to music in the media blade it cant open my computer from there

it fails at the ip address test

ive tried everything possible

(i am using windows media player 11)

That means that your 360 is not getting an internet connection. Either call up your Internet provider or MS for help.I called MS an they helped me out in 5 minutes when I had the same problem.
